Overview
The Seasonal Elections Administrator will report directly to the Assistant Vice President, providing administrative support for elections in accordance with the party's constitution, by-laws, and the election rules of the AAA. This person will manage phone inquiries, assisting with election setups, and addressing various customer inquiries. This role follows relevant laws and procedures to ensure elections are conducted fairly and impartially, maintaining a neutral stance throughout. This role requires strong written communication skills for crafting professional business responses and the ability to effectively interact with customers over the phone.
The salary range for this position is $20 - $25/hour, based on experience, and will average between 20 – 22 hours a week and is predominantly onsite from our NYHQ.
Key Responsibilities
• Supports in administering elections and other administrative tasks to support AVP.
• Manage inbound phone calls, address customer questions or concerns
• Prepares and opens file for each new election and provides election data to intake for an election case number.
• Maintains election eligibility lists and transfers data to labels for mailings.
• Calculates daily count of ballots returned and provides information to client.
• Coordinates with printer for proofs of all ballots and designs standard ballots when requested by the director.
• Provides clerical services to election department when requested
• Ensures confidentiality; adheres to the AAA's information security and data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.
• Demonstrates regular, reliable, predictable job attendance.
