Looking for an exciting opportunity in the legal industry? We have the perfect job for you! Our team of dedicated professionals is looking for a Case Administrator (Legal Service Administrative Support Associate)to work with us on arbitration and mediation cases in Fresno, CA.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging arbitration and mediation cases and contribute to the success of our clients. You will be responsible for providing administrative support in accordance with the rules and procedures of the AAA and applicable law. In addition to a competitive salary range of $49,500 - $53,000/year, we offer a 7.5% quarterly incentive to reward your hard work. The successful applicant will work from Fresno, CA on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering arbitration and mediation cases and performing various administrative tasks.
  • As an effective communicator, you will maintain regular contact with party representatives, arbitrators and mediators through phone, email, and letter. In addition, you will maintain and update case files and documents in our online case management system (PRISM), ensuring the confidentiality of case information and records in accordance with our information security and data privacy policies.
  • You will have the opportunity to showcase your strong problem-solving skills by proactively identifying case management issues and taking appropriate action to resolve them. You will also assist in coordinating, initiating, and administering conference calls and video conferences.
  • You will apply correct case fee schedules, accurately calculate and allocate billings/cancellations based on fee schedules and contractual agreements, and explain fee calculations and billing processes to customers.

Qualifications
Education & Experience: Associate degree in business or related discipline; 2-4 years of relevant work experience (e.g., customer service, case administration, legal environment) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers, arbitrators, mediators, or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical reports, data charts, and graphs.
Computer Skills:Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based case management systems.
